Meet Your Bykota Kids
Rattana
Rattana, age 11, was the first Bykota Kid. When Rattana's parents died, neighbors and distant relatives took the five siblings in. The oldest child joined the monastery which meant that he would have a home and food. The other four children, including Rattana, continued to be moved around from one home to another. We have been unsuccessful in our attempts to locate Rattana's younger sister. Rattana hopes to become a doctor. That may have something to do with the fact he is so accident-prone that he has enjoyed many doctor's visits.
