Mekera, 14, and Volet, 12, are two of a family of seven siblings. After the death of their mother, it was decided that they would have at least a chance of a "bright future" at an orphanage. Mekera is extremely smart and is in the seventh grade. She hopes to be a business owner one day. Volet's heart and soul is singing and dancing. His favorite dance is hip hop and he wants to be in a music video one day.
